MAXT OUT was created in 2001 under the direction of Joanna Vargas and JAYVEE Dance Productions, INC. MAXT OUT brings the power of numerous collegiate and independent dance groups from all over Southern and Northern California to create a positive and relaxed environment to all performers and audience members. MAXT OUT is an annual urban/street dance showcase that takes place every year around the second Sunday of July. Every year MAXT OUT has grown and our audience has also grown with our show. Attracting an audience of 1,000 to 1,500, MAXT OUT production has grown and it's exciting to see an artistic creation blossom from its beginning.
Created in 2003, Maxt Out Junior was started so that dancers under the age of 18 would be able to participate in a non competitive dance showcase and feature their choreography, talents, and unique dance backgrounds. JAYVEE Dance Productions, INC. had increased submissions annually for under aged talent for MAXT OUT collegiate, so JAYVEE decided to create a Junior Dance Showcase for those eager dancers. MAXT OUT Junior features High School Dance Groups, Studios, and independent dance troupes.
MAXT OUT Junior has grown throughout the years. With a humble start of 8 dance groups, M.O.J. now features over 15 dance groups and there is a waiting list for groups to participate in upcoming shows. Every year JAYVEE Dance Productions, INC. also invites a few guest performers to showcase their talent so that younger dancers can see what they have to look forward to in the future as a dancer.
